Corfu ( Kerkyra ) - Greek islands

Our next destination was Corfu. Corfu is known as Kerkyra in Greece. Corfu is an island in the Ionian Sea. We were there from 12:00 to 19:00.

We decided to take a bus tour in order to see more of the island. Our tour first took us to the hilltops where it was a nice view of the Vlaheraina monastery and mouse island. Then to the main city of Kerkyra where we walked the streets of an old venetian city. Finally our bus headed towards a monastery in the other side of the island. But instead of visiting the monastery, we stayed on a beautiful beach for swimming and the bus picked us up on the way back to the ship.

We arrived in Kerkyra around noon.
